REFURBISHED in October 2011, this ground floor 2 bedroom apartment is another example of our ideally located yet peaceful abodes. Situated in a small group of 8 there are stairs from the carport leading directly to the grass area overlooking Adelaide's famous Glenelg beach. Your walk to the beach will take literally 1 minute! Just 200m southwards along the beachfront path is local favourite "The Broadway Cafe" where you can enjoy all day dining and ice creams watching the waves roll in. The apartment has air conditioned cooling, bathroom with shower (no bath), lounge area with digital television, DVD player and in house DVDs. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, gas stove, gas oven, toaster, cooking pots, pans, utensils & all kitchen crockery. Dining area for 4 persons situated within kitchen. Washing machine and dryer. Communal clothesline available and clothes horse also provided for drying of clothes inside. Ironing board & iron. Compendium highlighting local attractions and transport.
DISTANCE FROM AIRPORT: Our Bristol apartment is a short 10 minute drive from the airport and 12 minutes from the city of Adelaide. Add another 10 minutes for peak traffic periods.
BEDDING ARRANGEMENTS: 1 King Bed (which can be split into 2 Singles), 2 Single Beds, 1 Portacot (upon request). King Bed & Single Bed linen provided. Portacot linen not provided. All towels provided including beach towels.
CAR PARKING: Your undercover parking bay is located at the rear of the apartment in Bristol Place with the entrance to the apartment immediately by the car parking bay. Only vehicles belonging to residents may park in the allotted spaces.
EXTRA PROVISIONS: A Breakfast ‘Welcome Pack’ is included, with coffee, tea, fruit, cereal, milk and juice. Shower soaps and hair dryer are not provided and guests are reminded to bring their own.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: Entertainment and dining are on hand with the Holdfast Marina restaurants and bars virtually on your doorstep. A leisurely 5 minute walk along Colley Terrace brings you to Jetty Road, where you’ll find an abundance of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shopping. Glenelg’s famous Beachouse situated on Colley Reserve will entertain the children with water slides, dodgem cars, mini golf, arcade games and more.
LOCAL TRANSPORT: Glenelg is a popular Adelaide beachside precinct. Buses, trams and taxis are readily available with direct routes to the city and major western and southern centres. Bus & tram timetables as well as local taxi service information are provided in house.
